For all we have known and could know, we don't always understand how to integrate it into what we believe. 

Conventional Leadership

Conventional leadership and aspirations are what you encounter in about 80% to 85% of the population. It's the "default" growth path most strongly characterized and influenced by the dominant systems, institutions, and culture within which people grow up and live. 

Post-Conventional Leadership

Post-conventional leadership is rarer. No more than 15% to 20% of the population mature from conventional to post-conventional leaders. This kind of leadership is characterized by habitual introspection, self-understanding, and expansive awareness of potential worldviews, that turn into profound impact.

Temporal Development

This is about increasing the scope and span of how we can mentally time-travel, learning to see the root causes and origins of our experience while navigating the storm of possibilities and probabilities ahead.

Vertical Develpment

Understanding each aspect of our experience more deeply and at multiple stages (sometimes referred to as levels). As we mature, we transcend other kinds of development as a standalone or central focus while including them in a more integrative developmental experience.

First, the MaP is an instrument that helps bring to the surface the meaning that's embedded in what we express, from what brings us joy and what we value to what we have unresolved and where we face challenges.

As a report, the MaP is an analytical snapshot of our inner experience. It shows us the spectrum of ways we perceive aspects of our experience across various stages of maturity and reveals some vital signs about our developmental edges. 

Debrief

A Debrief to Drive Dialogue

Finally, there's the Debrief. The Debrief is not a presentation or a voice-over of the report; it's a an interactive dialog to explore and understand what the MaP Report suggests, how you respond it it, and what might be next on your journey.

Questions & Answers

Who is the ideal candidate to take the MaP?

There is no singularly ideal candidate. That said,  most people who find the value in taking the MaP are already curious about making more sense of their lived experience. (And no, you don't have to be facing an existential crisis to make it worthwhile.) Even people who find themselves content in their lives often find something that inspires them to new questions and wonder.

What if I'm not "a leader" or plan to become one?

That's OK! You don't need a title, occupation, authority, aspiration, or financial resources to be considered a "leader" for the purposes of taking the Maturity Profile. We see people from all walks of life finding and expressing their leadership in the world. We also believe that the first person one learns to lead truly is oneself. 

When is the right time to take the MaP?

There's no single moment in life that is ideal to take the MaP. The insight gained from the MaP has a positive effect on people at all ages and stages of development. 

How is the Maturity Profile different than other personality instruments like Meyers-Briggs, HBDI, StrengthsFinder, etc.?

Most personality instruments are what's considered a typology, i.e., a way to define a 'type' of person you are, often as if it is some immutable quality. 

In contrast, the Maturity Profile is more dynamic. It's about who you are becoming. 

Who scores the MaP?

The Vertical Development Academy  administers and  facilitates the scoring  of  the MaP from its team of certified scorers. 

Who facilitates my debrief?

We do. We are in the final stages of MaP Debrief Certification from Vertical Development Academy (VeDA). (While VeDA also offers a debrief for an additional fee from the MaP, Integral Productivity incorporates this fee into our coaching packages and pricing to ensure more people can have access to it and improve the continuity of developmental care from the MaP into Leadership Maturity Coaching. )

Why not purchase the MaP Experience directly from VeDA?

Due to the ethical design of the MaP Experience, the MaP report is not available without a debrief.

While taking the MaP instrument is charged as an add-on, by integrating the MaP debrief into our coaching packages and offering sliding-scale pricing, we can provide the MaP debrief at a reduced cost compared to VeDA's rates, while offering improved continuity of care between the MaP debrief and further coaching.
